gypsy halos

I got picked up by a VW bus in the Whole Foods parking lot with my vegan burrito, chai tea, and camera in hand. Seriously.

We made the drive huddled in the back towards the south side of the island– what a gorgeous day for the Gypsy Halos photo shoot. A day in the life of creatress Emily Joy Tenney and friends – photographed! Real peeps and aloha.  Emily makes these one-of-a-kind handmade headbands made with love and intention on the island of Maui.  You may have seen her on the West Coast festival scene, or cruising Haight St. in San Francisco with a slew of colorful headbands.

I am honored to have photographed the new Gypsy Halo lookbook and to have met these beautiful shining souls!

Connect with Gypsy Halos online and see the shop here.
