I love to draw out emotion and freeze powerful moments in time, and embrace the philosophy that small, quiet instances of connection are often the most significant. That the emotion of a scene is what gives it real impact. So, whether I’m photographing a couple in love, a mother to be, a family of five, ahupua’a restoration, farms, or non-profit work, I’m always pursuing photos that capture more than simply how something looks. I want to preserve how it feels.

When I’m not photographing families or weddings, you can find me at our ‘ohana homestead where we have fruit trees, chickens and bees.
