where do you meet the best people? at the beach! grateful to connect with this ohana and eventually do their family photos. we had a beautiful morning at baldwin beach in paia. yes, yes – I know I make people arrive super early for the pretty light, but it’s always worth it. and mornings rule because everyone is fresh! jessica and chris have the sweetest love, and because of that – the kids are beaming. I am constantly reminded of why I chose not to pursue the editorial/fashion world and went down a different path. one that led to the real shit — love is it!

PS. getting the kids in their swimsuits at the end of the shoot is highly encouraged. the perfect way to wrap!
