Ellen Fisher and her family warm my heart. I first reached out to her years ago (when sandy was still in the belly!) for a project I was doing called, “tropical moms” — where I was interviewing and documenting inspiring mama’s on Maui. we became quick friends, and since then I’ve been honored to even be there scout’s birth, which furthered my passion for doing birth photography on Maui — documenting the beautiful connections between tiny humans and their family’s.
I got to cruise at Ellen and Andrew’s new home in Ha’iku, where they are growing an abundance of fruits and veggies. the Fisher ohana inspires me in so many ways, and most recently to get my hands back in the soil. here’s a few favs from our afternoon.
