I met jinju while photographing a hoop event in colorado, and we have stayed in touch ever since. jinju and her husband nova live an incredible life, splitting their time between san francisco, new york, colorado, and oahu. they founded soul flow arts, a portal for personal transformation through the power of embodied play. nova is north america’s #1 ranked acrobatic paragliding pilot, and jinju, PhD, is a professional life coach, performer, lecturer, and facilitator who embraces the power of dance, flow arts, and yoga. what?! yes, these two blow my mind.

when jinju and nova told me they’d like to fly me over to Oahu to capture their love, I couldn’t wait. there was a mention of children during our session, and I saw nova’s eyes twinkle. I had a feeling these two were keeping something BIG on the down low… so sneaky! after delivering their photographs, they used the images to announce the pregnancy of their beautiful baby. CONGRATULATIONS jinju and nova on your growing family. I cannot wait for your maternity session!
