standing rock fundraiser | maui mini-sessions

aloha sweet friends!

last week we organized a gathering at baldwin beach, as our brothers and sisters at standing rock called out for international prayer around the world on this day.

this beautiful video by Sasha Nitze of Cinemaui Studio is a beautiful testament to our dedication, love, prayers, and action towards standing rock — even if we’re all the way out here on a different rock.

but now I can’t stop the feeling — I have to get out there. to document. the camps have called for media of all kinds to come. to stand in solidarity. to photograph the OCETI SAKOWIN youth with my friend Kellie Love, who is recording an album of their songs. learn more here.

I will serve in whatever way I can. there are many jobs to be done. part of this will be bringing supplies that have been requested, you can check out the list here to get an idea of the various items.

I have my flight budgeted for – but would like to raise money for supplies/van to bring them in to the masses who are enduring winter weather. I will also sleep in the van and use it as a mobile office to upload photographs/charge batteries/etc. I am aiming to leave next week.

so how can you contribute? I am offering mini sessions Sunday, November 13 from sunrise to mid-morning up in Olinda Forest. 100% of your dollas will go to Standing Rock. and you get beautiful photographs with your family, hunny, baby bump, or just your fabulous self.
